Spring has begun and magnolias have bloomed beautifully. I just mounted an old $20 Soviet lens to my Sony camera and took some photos. Check out the spring dreamy look! 🌸 Thank you for being there!

A tall, slender magnolia tree, with blossoms the size of dinner plates.
I came across this specimen at the weekend, in Cornwall, and I don't think I've ever seen such large flowers on a tree, anywhere.

I had to walk to work ( car related).
I was able to look at spring in the park, in gardens, along the sides of the roads.... Flowers everywhere, only a tiny portion of which I have been seeing as I drive back and forth.
Driving has become the necessity, for me because of items that need to be carried back and forth. But it's a detachment from the natural world. ( Yes, this is another matter, being a part of the natural world) So: accidental

Everywhere I go this week, the magnolias are rampant - and ours is no exception. It seems to need less maintenance than anything in the garden, and I'm really grateful for that.
