Dudewitbow,

some pci-e device. but the main chips are probably on the other side of the board.

Dudewitbow,

i think its more that all facial recognition systems have a harder time picking up faces with darker complexion (same idea why phone cameras are bad at it for example). this failure leads to a bunch of false flags. its hilariously evident when you see police jurisdictions using it and aresting innocent people.

not saying the womans of colored background, but would explain why it might be triggering.

Dudewitbow,

youtube late covid introduced a ban on videos on “disturbing eating habits that would affect a persons health”

while it exists for shit like tide pod challanges, its gray enough that bad eatting habits on screen could be subject to penalty

Dudewitbow,

many countries mark Antarctica as neutral territory and there are laws surrounding what you can and cant do in Antartica so doing any business move there is probably not ideal unless you want to piss some countries off even if this is objectively going to help countries get better connected.

Dudewitbow,

bots evolving by projection, and you know what projects, MACHINES. its been in front of us all along.

Dudewitbow,

iirc the tldr with salt batteries is:

pros: cleaner (no lithium) wear down slower than liion resistant to temps

cons: lower capacity when they fail, they fail hard (e.g suddenly stop working)

theyre IMO very ideal for offsite energy storage (where space is not a problem) or a residential battery wall. as they dont have the risk of catching on fire.

IMO if any nation is trying to solarize their energy grid, backing salt ion is the better long term option.

Dudewitbow,

i believe it follows similar laws as water and buoyancy. you slow/stop sinking once the displaced water/force is greater than whats above the sand. Similar to deep eater, panicking only allows you to sink more.

Dudewitbow,

i mean it doesnt have to be anime conventions its usually any kind of gathering where said yopic. of convention has a gathering of introverts, in particular, ones that have 0 sense of self awareness.

in terms of worst to less worse:

Card game tournament(sweaty, generally lack of AC, small venue cause cheap) < Video Game tournament (similar but in a room full of electronics, usually helped out by that their venue is larger) < anime conventions

Dudewitbow,

ofc the cosplays have an effect as well, but theyre typically the minority at a convention vs those playing TCGs or Video games, who are often the majority.

the triple threat funny moment was San Jose 2016. Genesis 3 (Super smash bros tournament) took place at the same time and venue as Furcon, as well as a female volleyball tournament, all 3 generating sweat differently.

Dudewitbow,

100% of corpses are found with traces of this deadly forever chemical. its the secret big brother doesn’t want you to know about.

Dudewitbow, (edited )

generally speaking, its more valuable if the cost of electricity used is lower than the cost of getting better internet (e.g living in the bumfuck no where).

say if your isp gives you a 250gb cap and costs 50$ per 250gb (just throwing out numbers), it might make sense to use less data in the stream quality, and upscale it to a higher resolution using GPU as a cost saving measure.

Dudewitbow,

the new app is a step in the right direction. it will push you to want to login via free rewards, but its optional. its a lot snappier than the POS that is GFE and really the only thing holding it back atm is not all the features of ncp has been integrated onto the new app, so it’s still required to have the ncp around.

took forever as both AMD and Intel had updated their driver software suit ages ago now.

Dudewitbow,

it starts to cook based on the percussive force applied at that frequency if the slap is hard enough

Dudewitbow,

the people arguing against doesnt realize japan doesn’t care about what race the samurai is. Koei, a japanese developer, legitimately made the main character of Nioh Irish, and it got 2 games.

Dudewitbow,

one of the few things that marks a super power is having (reletively) good logistics. almost all major corporations that sell products have to master logistics.

Dudewitbow,

usually when it comes to collabs, its licensing issues, especially if aaid product or IP is handled by different bramches or organizations internationally

Dudewitbow,

because unlike lemmy where its usually about following topics, twitter is about following people, and migration requires said people who theyre following to also migrate

Dudewitbow,

you need to /s because there will always be the one time someone is serious about it.

Dudewitbow,

probably same reason why some are anti birth control. kinda playing against gods role by manipulating the natural result.

Authorities Seek Suspect in Fatal Florida Hit-and-Run Boating Accident that Killed 15-Year-Old Girl (thenarinder.in)

Authorities continued their search on Tuesday for the individual responsible for fatally striking a girl with a boat while she was waterskiing in South Florida over the weekend. The victim has been identified as 15-year-old Ella Adler from Miami Beach....

Ella Adler
Dudewitbow,

basically you have the ability to drive in most directions but the drivers brilliant mind decides to drive towards a human.

wouldnt be suprised if the driver was intoxicated.

Dudewitbow,

essentially its similar to product sponsorships and product reviews. Product sponsorships give the sponsor all the power to censor parts they dont like. Reviews should be honest and reveal something is good or bad.

they tried to say in order yo get into beta you can only say good stuff, so any online footage is similar to a sponsorship rather than an honest review

Dudewitbow,

a good chunk of the switch top sellers are WiiU games. new isnt always on the table.

Dudewitbow,

unique hardware that doesnt follow the conventions of standard hardware, so you have to write code to get around that fact. Take for example one of the reason why Wii/GC development went fast eas because the PowerPC processor is fairly well documented, similar to the Tegra X1 with the switch. Its always obscure hardware that makes hardware emulation harder (e.g PS3, Sega Saturn)

ASUS Scammed Us (www.youtube.com)

This undercover warranty investigation is a one-year follow-up from our series that investigated ASUS for motherboards incinerating AMD CPUs, at the end of which ASUS promised a number of improvements to its then-anti-consumer warranty processes. Spoiler alert: They’re still anti-consumer. We sent our ASUS ROG Ally Z1 Extreme...

Dudewitbow,

I basically always tell people, if you’re buying Asus(in the U.S), youre essentially buying something new in box, but essentially considered used. Treat it as if its open box sale, because they will fight tooth and nail to attempt to deny your warranty.

Its a problem at various levels, primarily with the major Taiwanese Brick and Mortar companies. The sad part is how ubiquitous they are when it comes to the DIY portion of PC building.

Dudewitbow,

they eventually have to cast doom else they couldnt do secret wars, as Doom is unequivocally essential for the event to happen/conclude. The Doom casting imo has to be heavily scrutinized due to how major the character will eventually be for the universe.
