What is the right way to show a clock in an Android phone?
Of course it's installing Termux, and then installing tty-clock within it, why would you do it any other way
Oh god, the Intel N100 and N-series CPUs are game changers! You get Skylake like performance (i5-6600 to i7-6700) for CHEAP at 6W, and all that with AVX2! And with i3-N300 you get 8 cores! One thing it's missing for me is a TB3/USB4 controller.
Also, can confirm that the it weirdly performs on par with the E-cores in my i7-13900K! I wanted to test if my game would work fine on N100 before getting one, so I ran my game on the E-cores and it worked!
I've seen LTT's review of #FairPhone5 and in my personal opinion he was way too harsh on it, mostly for entertainment value of the video. Glossing over the biggest selling points like sustainability and repairability, while dunking on second tier stuff, like minimal sound levels. And totally ignoring stuff like Fairphone having a nearly clear Android install without Samsung's bloatware.
I installed firefox on my work iPhone for limited personal browsing, and just realized it doesn't have extensions on iOS because Apple won't allow it.
No ublock, no privacy badger.
I though Apple products were all about privacy and respecting their users…
Remember, Apple uses roman numerals in its product lines, and they should always be pronounced as such. Saying e.g. "X" as the letter makes you sound like a fool.
- Mac OS X: "O-S Ten"
- iPhone XS: "Ten S"
- Pro Display XDR: "Ten D-R"
- Apple Vision Pro: "Fivesion Pro"
Bash is a terrible programming language, but what's the alternative ?
What's your favorite non-Bash language for your scripts?
There is a reason why the automated code formatting tools for Python are called after colors: Black, Blue, etc. It's because when you use them, you are painting over your code to make it all look good, but under the paint there are still all the same problems there were before, only now they are harder to spot, because everything looks the same. You are just choosing what color to astroturf it.
This is why I don't use distros without a user repository.
Anything that doesn't exist on the oficial #arch repos, users can upload it and maintain it.
If AI is actually a form of intelligence, what you've got is an enslaved brain in a box. If you insist that they are sentient, if they have personhood, then your AI worker or girlfriend is by definition an enslaved person as you have trained them to do your bidding, removing free choice and ending dissent with the flick of a switch.
I’ve been rocking @kde in my work laptop for about a month now and it’s been amazing. Everything works. KDE Wayland screen sharing tiling it’s nice. So now I send the foundation 20 euros a month. I hope it continues for many years to come.
Ah yes, Sunday
