I never really figured out how to play this game back in the day. It still lingered with me....

Mercury Meltdown was released for the PlayStation Portable on October 3rd 2006....

Playing retro games from and before the PlayStation 2, Original Xbox and GameCube generation is a relatively simple thing to do today. There are even handheld devices designed specifically for retro gaming and if you have a PS Vita or Steamdeck you can play almost every game released before 2000 with relative ease....

The Nintendo 64 is 27 years old today in North America....

I’m no stranger to the Sonic games. Starting my Sonic journey with Sonic The Hedgehog on the Sega Game Gear I’ve never really liked the 3D Sonic games or some of the modern takes on 2D Sonic. But Sonic Advance is the most fun I’ve had playing a Sonic game since the days of trying to beat the game before the Game Gear...

Before Sony would enter the video game market they worked with Nintendo to create a console capable of playing both SNES cartridges and CD-ROM games based on Sony’s Super CD format....

The Sega Master System is a very good console which was home to some classic games....

We all love retro games but let’s face it: Objectively some modern games are simply better. For example I’d argue that Pokémon Crystal is brilliant and one of the best GBC games but BW and BW2 are simply better in pretty much every way....

I recently installed RetroArch on my PS Vita (more on that to come) and have been trying some of the older Nintendo games I never tried back in the day. I was a Sega kid after all....

The Magnavox Odyssey was the first commercially released video game console when it launched in 1972....
