Secure Operating Systems (Microkernels seems to be the future)

I am not satisfied with Linux’s security and have been researching alternative open source OS for privacy and security So far only thing that’s ready to use is GrapheneOS (Based on Android) but that’s not available on desktop (Though when Android release Desktop mode it may become viable)...

Punk_face,

I just read an older article about the black market using graphineos to create a supposed private phone to run drugs, however the FBI joined forces with two other countries to infiltrate a man in the middle attack and busted the drug ring. I think a private os is a pipe dream since you still need to get on the internet and as long as you’re online, you’re vulnerable.

Punk_face,

Same. I welcome our AI overlords as long as that means I can just stay at home and fully embrace my autism by not giving a fuck about the workforce while studying all of the thousands of subjects I enjoy learning about.

Punk_face,

I want to brainstorm this. I know about the mute button, but it doesn’t work on all pumps. So, how are the pumps getting the ads (getting updated ads)? Are they connected to the internet? Bluetooth? Flash Drive firmware updates?

When we figure this out, the next step is to hack that source.

Punk_face,

I have ProtonMail, but I’m pretty new to it. I do pay for premium (unlimited). How does the domain thing work with them? They actually host the email for the domain via MX records?

Punk_face,

Ah ok, thank you!

Punk_face,

If it helps, at all…I don’t give a fuck either way. I find people who cling to the latest social trend as annoying as those who loudly oppose it. I enjoy educated banter from both ends of the spectrum…however, 90% don’t want a civilized & educated discussion…they want to insult and make you sound less than human in order to validate their beliefs & opinions. It’s the same all over the internet. Doesn’t matter if you are on Lemmy, Reddit, Twitter…doesn’t matter.
