If trump can be held accountable for his crimes, that means everyone can be held accountable for their crimes.

This isn't a flaw or a mistake, it's literally how the law is supposed to work.

@StillIRise1963 No but he may choose a gullible black person to present as the visible 2nd in command. He will just make sure he strips their power if he 'wins' and ensures he is out of the chain of command if something happens to himself.

@StillIRise1963 We'll see. Personally, I think he will do whatever he thinks is necessary to get close enough to matching Biden's votes so he can argue (again) it was rigged. Neither a black person or a woman would surprise me as his VP pick, for the same reasons.

@pomnik_psa @flexghost Yeah, I'm aware of what they claim was their reason for blocking them. It doesn't change the fact that they blocked it for bullshit reasons, among which were the fears I mentioned.

That just shows they were at least smart enough to know they would be lampooned for the rest of eternity if they hadn't made it at least seem more reasonable.

@scottsantens I would really like to see the effects a BI has three generations down. What happens to the human mind when survival stress is removed not just from a person's own life, but what happens when they don't grow up being raised by people who suffered from survival stress.

I expect it would change what we consider is 'human nature' quite dramatically.

The hospital in the town of Englehart is closings it's ER due to a lack of staff.

This has happened across the province a lot since doug ford got into power, but it's a lot more significant than it seems.

Unlike when an ER in a populated region closes and people are forced to travel to a different hospital in the area, there are no other hospitals in that area. People will now have at least an hours drive, on the highway, just to get to an ER.

So many people just didn't bother voting, or voted for fringe candidates, because they think elections are about voting for a 'perfect' candidate instead of voting for the best alternative that can actually win.

Yet even with the destruction of the right wing on full display in the province, people are getting ready to hand the whole country to the right wing by voting for mini-harper, peepee polievere.

Have you ever been laying around, and realized your arm was in a strange position, and it felt weird, so you try to move it into a more natural position, but now you're hyper aware of how you position your arms, and it all feels weird, so you start questioning whether you know how to have arms?

@StillIRise1963 One of the saddest parts of it is the reaction of most people when they start actually growing food, or start to look at buying natural foods and realize that natural food isn't the usual 'good looking foods' that are sold. It's all been sorted and homogenized to make it all look alike. Or like having someone taste fresh cow or goats milk and respond with 'I like milk from the store better'. I'm not sure which part of a store you actually milk, but I'm not a fan lol
