I visited by accident. I was expecting a ‘house of horrors’ or a cheesy wax museum of ancient oddities. It was way more serious and depressing than I expected. And I have no regrets. The tragedy of humans fucking over their neighbors and acquaintances was eye-opening

Obscure screw added so appliance cannot be disassembled (lemmy.world)

Basic blender went bad (motor ran but spindle wasn’t rotating). I wanted to disassemble to see if it could be repaired. Three of the four screws were Phillips head. I had to cut the casing open in order to discover why I couldn’t unscrew the fourth. It was a slotted spanner.

The screw head was at tho bottom of a 2 inch shaft. I destroyed the casing just to find out what the issue was.

Interesting choice of word. ‘Killed’ implies that there was a human action that caused the death. Considering that the boat was stolen, overloaded and that the parents were present, who does Al Jazeera hold responsible?

True AND it is the easiest way to dismiss his actions. Added bonus, if he tries to admit he is a journalist and not an entertainer, back to court he goes.
