Miniature war gamers! I'm on the lookout for games with interesting or at least unusual mechanics. Give me your weird activation or initiative procedures, odd unit organization, strange interactions during other player's turns, gonzo movement types, and bonkers harm rules, you name it! #miniatures#wargames#wargaming
@NOOBMASTER That's not the case. I've attempted to reban the account and it's the same account, it already comes up as banned. He's posting to the microblog which doesn't seem to stop banned users.
@cendawanita I don't know how I can tell the difference, either way, it needs to stop if we're going to effectively moderate our magazines. I know on his original instance he does have a hashtag that matches the magazine name. If that is the case, it's a great way to avoid being moderated. Just sit on your private federated instance and post all day while pretending you're not spamming.
@cendawanita Yeah it's posted on his instance and is being picked up here, either way we can't really have that because mods can't control what gets posted on their magazine.
How do I ban a user from another instance? Tried to ban, but just getting an error. We can't really block spam in our magazines if we can't stop users from posting there.
I still can't log into anything but kbin. Anyone know what is up here? I have accounts on sh.itjust.works, beehaw, and one of the other ones. The accounts were created fine, but when I actually go to login it just sits there on the green login box spinning forever and never completes.
@Kayzels I know I can, but I'm just curious why I can't log in to any of these sites all with the same behaviour. If they sent me an e-mail I would have clicked it. I signed up a few days ago though I don't think I got an e-mail and going to sh.itjust.works shows the e-mail field as optional, so I can't really see it requiring a verification.
Edit: Found the issue. The site must have obviously lost my information. Despite the account being created, and me having a saved username/password, I've just discovered that there is no account. Recreated it and it now works. Absolutely no feedback from the site at all in regards to this.
