Lucky me, cybernetic ganglia were half-price, and with a bit of adjustment, I was able to rewire the undead manx the ape dumped on me, and re-sequence its identity crisis, transforming it from cursed demonspawn to toxic cyborg zombie kitten. Regardless of how it may sound, this was a marked improvement for the cat, and he was promptly adopted by Officer Murphy. This was fine with me, as the cop seems to have abandoned his line of questioning about the unfortunate incident at the Caravan Palace.
