Not sure why Univ. of Florida thought this was a good idea at all. Just stealing funds from the school to support crony politicians. I guess someone at the school has to also be a part of the pipeline that allows this shit to to flow through.
UF thought it was a good idea because they want to curry favor with the government in Tallahassee, which already has attacked one university this term. If they make DeSantis happy by hiring his crony then maybe he doesn’t go after UF.
