I see nothing indicating the meme is intended to be ironic. Considering the number of people taking this at face value, at best this was communicated poorly.
So why did you waste two paraphs arguing it’s not natural if you consider that irrelevant?
I am sympathetic with veganism and I am working on reducing my meat consumption. Of all the arguments for veganism, “eating meat is not natural” is not one of them.
Re-do the calculation when taking into account that the livestock wander freely ten months a year,
Do you think farmers just let their livestock roam freely over the countryside for 10 months? With no interaction from the farmer? Then the farmer just goes and collects them when they feel like it?
If you feel like your argument has been misinterpreted, or that a counter argument is irrelevant, someone who is arguing in good faith would restate their argument to indicate why the counter argument was irrelevant. Not “guess what my argument is” so that they can avoid stating something that would have to actually defend.
