Roll 20 kind of sucks. They haven’t made tangible improvements in years for performance, and the gm and player tools are lacking compared to other options despite making money hand over fist.

We used roll20, and it sucked, and ruined the experience in a lot of our sessions. You’re all like role playing, getting into it, and you can’t cast your spells because of roll20. We put money into it, buying shit for our games. They put money into youtuber sponsorships instead of improving the platform. It’s personal. You finally get 4h of overlapping free time on a Friday and the adventure won’t load. Do you understand now? We switched, but we still hate it. Knowing that they still haven’t improved years later just feels like “yeah that’s about right”. Fuck roll20.

My friend didn't have a great experience with Linux

I have been daily driving Linux for over two years now and I have switched distros many times. So, when my friend bought a new laptop, I convinced him to install Linux Mint on it. I have an Nvidia GPU and aside from the occasional lemon of a driver, I’ve had no issues (to be sure, I don’t use Wayland). I play games through Proton just fine. MHW, Elden Ring, Hunt Showdown, BG3, etc. Unfortunately the games he picked are borked or not listed on protondb. Not sure about Minecraft though, I used to play that just fine.

Same as any other illegality. It’s legal until you get caught. The account will work fine until for one reason or another it becomes obvious you’re not the original owner of the account, and then it’s banned. Billing changes, location changes, ip changes, confession, etc.

I had this whole comment typed up but I genuinely don’t know where to start because I don’t have this problem. If you do, and you want some help, let me know and we can work something out together.

If it’s the pre-cut freezer kind, roast them in the oven with a bit of oil a 170-200c. When they’re done, switch the fan on to crisp them up for a bit. Way less oil, only one sheet pan to clean, and you can cook single batches. Bonus, you don’t have to constantly watch them. Just check on them every 5 min after about 30 min. No oil bath to worry about either.

Downside is you have to wait for oven to heat up.

Do you have a tip for enjoying scrubbing the shower, the toilet, and behind the toilet? Everything else is ok, but I hate those. As a result, I try to keep them as clean as possible in day to day use (squeegee the shower after every use, use toilet cleaner, etc) but I still have to dedicate time to cleaning them occasionally and tbh I’m considering paying someone else to do it.

I wash all my band shirts in a washing machine at 40C with only color detergent and no fabric softener. I hang dry the tshirts on hangers instead of folding them over the clothes line or using clothes pins. Absolutely no dryer outside of whatever the washing machine does.

It works pretty well. The real secret is to have about 30 of them so you don’t wash them every week.

Edit: like another commenter said, wash your clothes inside out.
