We need a successful replacement to DirectX for this to happen.
Look how desperate they are now for their web browser, imagine when people start abandoning Windows because there are other options that work just as well. I can’t wait.
Definitely, I’m not saying that there aren’t any viable candidates out there now, but the title base for games that support Vulkan seems to be not even 1/10th of what DirectX 11 can support. It needs more acceptance I guess is what I mean.
At times, yes. But at most times, no. Certain games can capitalize on ARC and I was just as enthusiastic as everyone else when it first started making the rounds. But theres a reason the cards haven’t caught on and most people seem to rely on them more for offloading things like streaming and AV1 encoding/decoding
I operated a M113 as a mortarman, the 120mm barrel mounted to a swivel base in the floor with the barrel facing towards the rear. It would rest in a mount attached to the base above the rear hatch door. You first had to open the top doors to make room to deploy the mortar and could only swing it about 45-degrees from side to side, so if you needed to adjust for a different target the tracks would need to be moved, aiming posts realigned to the new angle, firing to bury in and then you’re ready for a fire mission.
I’m curious to know more about this new variant. How roomy it is inside the passenger area, how mechanical is the turret operation, can it fire in all directions, if not why was the decision to face the barrel towards the front…
This AI video is saying it’s automated, breach-loaded and there will be a demonstration in September. We also used to run 3-5 man crews where this seems to serve 3.
For a week, it was worth a giggle. A flustered trackside nascar reporter attempting to avoid cursing on the news? That’s hilarious. Like every joke and/or horse, it was rapidly beaten past death. The body still receives unironic thwacks to this day....
While it’s not 1 to 1, mastodon seems to always be getting mentioned with businesses abandoning Twitter and moving there. I use it but it’s just not the same experience
I played WoW a bit after its initial release through the first couple xpacs. Getting the MMO itch again, but I know the WoW I grew up with doesn’t really exist anymore, so now I’m pretty out of touch....
Star Wars Galaxies, A New Hope launched in July and doesn’t have any of the BS restrictions in place like SWGEMU does. Play on multiple toons, use of macros and scripts, ultimate fun.
Hey all, I’m looking for a doorbell camera with continuous recording. Would prefer it not need a subscription but I guess that depends on what’s available. Any suggestions?
I’m pretty happy with my Unifi doorbell from Ubiquiti. If you purchase a dream machine or cloud key storage device to go with it, you can record constantly for as much disk space that’s provided. The downside is the price, while Ubiquiti doesn’t have subscriptions on their products they tend to be on the higher end of costs. Expect to put down $500 minimum for the doorbell and storage.
If that were ever the case, they would of brought the leading 3rd-party developers to the table. I don't discredit that he feels they should pay for their API access, I just feel the amount is exhorbant and meant to put them under rather than find an equal financial ground that makes sense.
