Gaming laptops have always been an extremely expensive but less capable desktop. Their portability is laughable, and pointless. Their battery life is non-existent, and if you can’t easilly move them, and you also have to plug them in all the time, then what does a laptop give you?
Not to mention their bad keyboards, bad speakers, a touchpad? and compromised screen. Not only should they be left behind, they shouldn’t have existed in the first place.
It’s actually a great game. But it’s Eurojank to the extereme. If you want a superior experience, play Gothic 2. But it’s still janky, just not as bad as Gothic 1. Gothic 3 I didn’t like at all.
Safety standards is the stated reason, but the actual reason is that weight is unregulated and can always be increased in pursuit of any more profitable dimension. If weight was the taxable dimension, we’d live in a much better world.
Do Europeans really give their height in cm? You’d think they short hand it like to like 1.7m or whatever since height is one of those things that doesn’t really need to be exact and will change by a cm or so based on the kind of shoes you are wearing, or wearing shoes at all.
A better example would be if europeans really gave their weight in grams. I don’t think they do, they use kilo’s cause they don’t really need the precision of a gram for something like that.
Damn and to think all you need to do is debase yourself, foment para-social relationships with your “fans” and give ~30% of your revenue to a third-party, and finally you can join the passive income scheme which of course is the reason you needed to the above to live anyway. The system works!
The passive income is what the article is talking about, i.e. “Property.” The OF contractors that are making 250k/mo aren’t buying properties to live in, they are buying investment properties. The initial work is fine.
Amazing how the existence of a single person who (may possibly) need a car means that everyone gets to drive cars and there is nothing that should be done about cars. Man isn’t that convenient for you.
At least she isn’t blaming internalized misogyny anymore, or having 2nd-wave feminists say women who supported bernie only did so because of their hormones and cute boys. Honestly the fact taht over 8 years later, the establishment websites are still listening to either of the Clinton’s highlights a real problem with the current Democratic party past and future electoral strategy.
Maybe we could just stop making plastic of all kinds. Reduce Reuse Recycle. Recycling is literally the last resort, we don’t need most of our plastic stuff today.
If and only If this law suit leads to the banning of advertisements across all media, I’d be 100% for it. But that isn’t the purpose, it’s purpose is a cash grab for a law firm.
You mean the organization that is basically bankrupt and at it’s peak spent 5million dollars over a year lobbying? You think they have more influence then a “video game series” that is owned by a company that has around 25billion in assets?
Ok but if you are in the middle of nature where is this mythical charging station that is going to ping your cell-phone that you should charge your bike in the next 35 minutes? It better not be in the national park you are visiting. I’d also say that in America, removing cars from our national parks and replacing them with rail would be a huge boost to accessibility, and preservation. Hiking/biking trails can and should still exist, but in that world Electric Cars have no place.
