I really have enjoyed this game. A couple things I wish it had was proper wheel controller support and a VR mode for driving around night city would be pretty cool.
Regarding the side note, people will stop calling in when they are asked “are you sure it wasn’t fireworks” nearly everytime. It is discouraging. From personal experience.
I have an elderly friend that I will probably need to migrate as 1 of their 2 computers doesn’t support win11. I am fully able to migrate them, but I really want it themed(Plasma6 probably ) to look as much like 10 as they a dealing with cognitive decline and I don’t want to force them to relearn using their computer.
I need to start investigating, but I got over a year to do so. The other part is making sure the 2 pieces of proprietary software they use runs in wine. I expect both will, but need to check.
This is obviously something that developers probably don’t think about as much as an accessibility issue in general.
30y seems a bit optimistic. I have already replaced the control board on our fridge once and I think I need to again and it probably is less than 15yo.
It isn’t all of America, but a surprising large part of it. So many short sighted people here. Shoot, you have a large solar installation and they reflect light and therefore heat back up making it cooler on the ground. Instead of importing oil, we can make solar panels here. Just ridiculous.
I understand that there is the general society, but I feel like America is bunch of smaller societies bundled together. On 2 types of extremes Florida and California, but each has smaller groups within. Obviously there are overlaps with certain thoughts of doing things.
Illinois has solar farms, but also one of the largest suppliers of ethanol for instance.

Yes, you are definitely correct about this. I was looking more at the energy side while you are looking at it from the water sustainability side. Different part of the overall same thing.
With climate change I am half expecting to be discussing the “great plains desert” someday in the future, assuming I live that long.
Corn isn’t necessarily the best plant to choose though. Farmers already knew how to farm corn.
Honestly going forward hydrogen will probably be the preferred energy source. Planet has plenty of water and can be split with electricity. Largest problem is that it requires pressurized containers, and the lack of infrastructure, but that applies to everything except petroleum product.
Of course they did. Don’t change it after release. In the future with a game like this they should make the singleplayer side part of the base game and move the multiplayer to a free “DLC” and just not offer that “DLC” where psn isn’t available if that is going to be a thing.

Same here. With the exception of the explicit sync, which will hopefully be resolved this week, I have been running Plasma 6 wayland since February. And honestly when I tried the X11 version it had more issues.
If you have, how well has it helped? Did different colors, such as those driving yellow tinted ones, help more? I have some transitions glasses, but that only helps outside. I saw on at least one site rose colored migraine glasses and am thinking about getting a pair.
That is a good idea. I will have to try that. I had used some yellow goggles a while back when I was bike riding, but I wasn’t have a sensory overload where everything bothers me then. I did notice that while everything seemed brighter, my eyes didn’t react as if it was. A quick search at a local store has yellow for under 10. I don’t see red, which I am a bit more curious about as I haven’t tried them. The advantage of “medical” is I can get them in prescription lenses(and styles), but I only need those for distance as I am nearsighted.
I generally do as well, but right even on the lowest brightness it has been an issue for me and I am planning to visit a friend who lives at high altitude and has a WALL of windows in the living room and avoiding everything is problematic. Just overall seems brighter there and I always have problems there. I am just wondering if those kinds of glasses in red, yellow or some other color would have a better experience than sunglasses would.
Thanks for your input. This gave me the idea of changing the color temperature of my monitor. This should help for now till I get some glasses. I have opted to get a few of the safety glasses in different colors mentioned in another message to try out.
With what you shared and another commenter mention computer glasses, I decided to order a few colors of safety glasses and I adjusted my monitors temperature. Thanks for sharing, it has been helpful.
