I’m getting near the end of Remnant 2. I am beyond terribly disappointed by the state of BG3’s bugs. I like games with choice making and vanity character creation, if you have any in mind, althought I’ve probably played them already. :c

Did they, though? They may not be able to pass laws as easily, but no one has the power to pass laws they won’t like, so at “best”, the situation won’t get worse, if given extraordinary optimism that current status won’t further escalate if unattended. From what I’ve read, they lost coalition with another conservative party, but that doesn’t mean the other party won’t have same views as them, therefore voting as they do. With how people spoke, I thought the old party got something like 10% with a super progressive party getting ~90%.

I highly recommend getting jobs adjacent to social media with full time contract. Sometimes it’s insanely busy, much more than a person can handle, but if you can manage the stress, there’s many slow days where you can just play games.

The entire main story and ending of Cyberpunk 2077. Had me straight up nasty crying under a shower, which I’ve never done before or since. I’ve been born sick with different degrees of it impacting my life, including being close to death and barely if at all able to move. Losing control over your body with no hope of help, and people not caring or doing so performatively, unable to relate, hit too hard.

Ironically, I think the game is badly written and the irony of an anti-corpo setting being ruined by corpos pursuing big “celebs” instead of spending the money on something useful, with said “celebs” playing really fucking badly (shoutout to the director of voice acting, since they’re technically responsible - everyone speaks so slowly and oddly it’s really hard to listen to - awful job). I really need to just focus on small games, because the big titles are always re-shitted shit made to be liked by everyone, but impossible to enjoy if you’re someone.

Yes, awful. I’m a big Keanu fan, literally had John Wick merch and took days off to see new movies when they premiered. His performance in Cyberpunk 2077 is so bad I genuinely would pay 100 euros for a DLC removing the current main story and replacing it with else. I like the side stuff in the game, but Silverhand drives me crazy through extremely poor performance.

He’s a good body and face actor, but his speech is poor, but the Cyberpunk 2077 voice acting director clearly didn’t help, as many other characters suffer from weird speech pattern and slow speech.

In all fairness, I genuinely don’t think he’s bad for the sake of it. He suffers from the same issue I do, which is a voice VERY void of emotion (I tried voice acting myself, but I sound dead whatever I say, including on a daily basis, so it’s just how some people sound).

Yes, it’s in their instance modlog, and, again, I solely was made aware by someone else seeing it. I cannot tell if I’m banned anywhere else. I find the decision silly, but I don’t have any intention of evading any bans, so I’d like to be able to inform admins to ban me again if I move instances. I’m currently looking into a new instance to choose, because even as we speak, I keep experiencing .ml going down and up and down and up…

Wouldn’t it make more sense to make it so system automatically sends users notifications if they were banned or if their posts were removed? Currently moderation is really pointless since the offender doesn’t even know they did something wrong.

Used to be a big XFCE fan, but I was experiencing icon scaling bug which made all my icons pixelized and hard to read. I solely use KDE now. I used to like Gnome, but it feels like they’re working their hardest to make the DE as bad as possible for power users and make it look like a nasty mobile UI.

Are there any? I can think of multiple representations of masc-leaning ofab people, i.e. in John Wick you have Asia Kate Dillon and Ruby Rose, but I cannot think of any feminine males being ever represented positively. I’m mostly into modern fantasy stuff like John Wick (obviously) with deciptions of fights. I’d love to see...

If the spider is a native to the area, it will likely be able to survive outside, Crawford said. But if the spider is a transplant that’s become a house spider — even if its ancestors made the voyage to the “new” place decades to hundreds of years ago — odds are, the spider will perish outside, Crawford said.

That’s because most spiders are adapted to specific places and temperatures, Crawford said.

“The American house spider (Parasteatoda tepidariorum) [is] probably native to northern South America,” Crawford said. “It undoubtedly lives outdoors just fine if your backyard is in Brazil or Guyana.” Even species that moved from one climate to a similar one seem to have trouble. Take the giant house spider (Eratigena atrica), a native of England. It traveled west when the British settled British Columbia, Canada, and the species later made its way south, to Seattle.

Now, E. atrica can be found in houses across parts of the northwestern U.S. (including this reporter’s childhood home). But the species is hardly ever found outside, even though Seattle’s climate is fairly similar to London’s.

“You would think it could survive outside, but we never find it in natural habitats around here — just [in] man-made habitats, such as buildings, brick piles, junk piles and retaining walls,” Crawford said. "So, it does, in fact, survive to some extent outside of buildings, but always in a man-made shelter."

What to do

If you see a spider creep across your bedroom, don’t squish it — but don’t throw it outside, either, Crawford said. Instead, move it to another part of your residence where you don’t mind having spiders, such as the garage, he suggested.

tl;dr The spiders who will die when thrown outside come from different regions where they can thrive, but where they became house spiders, they cannot thrive outside.
