Don’t gorillas get taken out by jaguars though?

I know jaguars have a stronger bite force but pound for pound I’m pretty sure lions are stronger.

Idk I just feel like it’s a decent match up.

I think you might be over estimating the force of a gorilla punch. I mean don’t get me wrong gorillas have ridiculous strength and can do some serious damage with just a few hits.

But lions aren’t exactly glass cannons. They can take a few hits before quitting/dying. I mean they deal with things like wildebeests after all.

The context of the fight would definitely be a major factor though.

That’s actually what I do lol

I usually wake up 2 to 3 hours before I’m supposed to be at work so I have time to fully wake up.

My biggest issue is that it takes me 2 to 3 hours to fully wake up 😅

This post was inspired by a conversation that I had with a friend about not having time to do certain things like working on my car.

Plenty of people here who think Palestinians aren’t being genocided.

They still definitely are being genocided through ethnic cleansing almost like what happened to the jews during the holocaust.

But there’s plenty of people on lemmy that believe this isn’t happening and fully support giving Israel all the weapons they want.

Y’know I tried using boost for lemmy since that’s what I used for reddit, then I noticed how jam packed full of ads it is (just like reddit).

Jerboa has a lot of the same features and is completely ad free

Hey I get that. I was like that myself originally. But after using jerboa I actually like it more. No hate towards anyone who uses boost or sync or whatever. I just like the feel of it.

And don’t get me wrong, jerboa has its own issues. One of the biggest being a lack of thumbnail protocol for large images or not being able to unblock communities/users without going to the full website but for a free app without ads it’s pretty nice.

Honestly would that ever actually be a bad thing?

Like I really can’t fathom a realistic way producing too much food (or whatever they’re growing) can be a problem.

And before anyone brings up the economy I’d rather there be so much food it’s worthless than what we have now.

The rise of large cars has never had anything to do with safety or more storage space or anything even remotely like any of that.

Emission standards are based on size and weight. So instead of giving a fuck about environmental damage they just started making everything bigger. And since Americans are especially susceptible to “BIG TRUCK MAKE ME FEEL LIKE BIG BOY” it’s most prevalent there.

Idk where you bought your games from but up until the last few years the standard was $60 for a new game. Anything more was a special edition of the game.

The only time I’ve paid more than $60 for a new game was if I bought a special edition.

For how long?

I’ll admit I didn’t start buying new games myself until around the original halo release.

Halo was actually the first game I bought with my own money. It was $60 2 days after release. The next game I bought brand new was call of duty 3. $60 the day after release.

As I said before the only new games I’ve purchased that cost more than $60 were the special editions of the base games. And it’s not like I wasn’t buying top name games. Borderlands 2 $60. Zelda skyward sword/tp/botw $60. For honor $60. Halo 2 broke world records for most anticipated media and it’s release price from day one was $60.

The standard for new games was $60.
