This was the answer, but it seems to be bugged on the current samsung OS. Every time I lock my phone it comes back and I have to toggle that notification category on and off again. Blocking notifications from the app wholesale gets rid of them, but I’m worried I’d be turning off something important if I did that.

If you step away from the ship, things like mass effect and outer worlds come to mind. If the ship can be a base there’s a whole world there. Astroneer, planet crafter (early access), Starbound, terraria, Subnautica If exploration/colony sim is cool you’re looking at factorio, rift breaker, frostpunk, ixion (hardcore!), satisfactory

AL resident here - he doesn’t get as much direct support as you might think. Most of the state votes straight red without even reading the names, so he only needs enough support/bullying competition to get through the primaries.

White bread. Bland enough to avoid eating aversions and puts some energy in you. Plus, most people already have some! Not claiming it’s healthy, but when I’m sick and the thought of eating makes me want to puke it manages to slip past my radar.

You know what the community is called, but because you judge the question to be stupid you’re attacking them anyway by just changing the word? People like you are the reason communities like this exist in the first place. You make people afraid to express their curiosity and improve themselves as a person. Everyone has holes in their knowledge, and sometimes those holes are embarrassing. The best way to combat ignorance in our society is to foster a culture where people are encouraged to express their curiosity and educate themselves.

I would characterize the crust as more colony sim than RTS. It’s definitely rough around the edges, but it has a strong foundation and I expect it will be a great game when finished.

A great way to develop the most user friendly ruleset is to have them compete! Here’s what I mean by this: once you have your top 5ish systems, just lookup 1 vs 2, 1 vs 3, and so on. You’ll notice some rules that are coming up almost every time. These are the greatest pain points for users of that ruleset. From here, you can cherry pick the best of all worlds! A word of caution: if you intend to avoid a particular rule or style, consider why it exists in the first place. Often when a system keeps a part of the game most players dislike it’s because that system is essential for maintaining balance somewhere.

Honestly? Just keep living your life. It can come as a real shock to discover you are autistic, but you have to remember that you have been your whole life and have made it this far. It will take time to come to terms with - if you need help processing, that’s exactly what therapy is for. Many health insurance plans these days cover a few sessions a year. If you’re still on your parent’s health insurance plan and are worried about asking them, you can just say you’re working through some stuff happening at work/school/friends/whatever. Or that a lot of your friends have benefited from it and you want to try it and see.

With time you’ll come to accept that this is just part of who you are. It doesn’t define you, and it’s not a new thing that’s going to throw your life off course. In contrast, it will likely actually improve your life over time. Understanding this about yourself will help you see and understand a lot of feelings and behaviors you’ve been unable to explain in the past. And now that you know about these things, you can seek to improve yourself or set healthy boundaries depending on what’s appropriate. It’s a journey for sure, and there will be parts that bring new meaning to “ignorance is bliss”. But in the long run you will be a better person for it, more comfortable in your own skin.

If you have the budget for it, get an SSD. You will never look back. Even if you never open a game, the difference in pc boot and application load times alone makes it worth it. Not to mention the increased life span, as others have mentioned. If budget is a serious concern, you can consider a fusion drive. Fusion drives have a segment using the same memory cells as SSD for frequently used programs, and a traditional spinning disk HDD section for affordable storage. Especially if you are looking to upgrade to 2+TB, a fusion drive can bridge the financial gap. But my personal recommendation would be to splurge a bit on a full SSD, and get at least 2TB if at all possible. Files sizes get bigger every year, and if you intend this to be your only storage the extra breathing room will be a huge QOL difference.

One of the founders of Brave, Brendan Eich, was actually CTO of Mozilla (firefox) for a time, as well as the creator of the JavaScript programming language used in web development.
