News in other parts of the world: murder on the streets
News in Japan: tourists leave trash and are in the way when taking pictures of Mnt Fuji together with a convenience store. Because of that, a black sheet to prevent the famous view was setup.
@globalc I don't understand what you mean here? What incident? Just the floating caterpillars? I do hate them, but they can be avoided or you just break the thread with a stick.
The trail I followed was impracticable and at some point I was not able to find where to go, no more signs on trees... Went back and took another trail.

At the local super market:
I passed by here many times, then I started to wonder why this fridge with sweets is not located near to the other food area. These here need to look tasty to pet owners, and then be bought for their pets :)
Seeing these, @hananoaki commented along the lines of "well, overaging population, many people having pets instead of children..".
Tourists caused a commotion upon entering the train due to seat conflicts. I checked their tickets and informed them that they were on the wrong train.
How could someone not notice this? "Your ticket is only valid for the 11:02 train; this is the 11:42 train..."
