For the laptop, you can use an HDMI capture card and OBS to use it as a second monitor. Keep in mind though that it’ll only support the resolutions that the card supports so depending on the card you may be limited to only 4k or 1080p resolutions.
Samsung Galaxy Fold probably has an even better experience because of the two screens and portable form-factor. But nothing beats playing on an original 3DS.
My gf and I have had discussions about teaching morals to kids. In that vein, I asked myself, would I teach piracy to my kids? Yes, it’s technically illegal and carries inherent risks. But so does teenage sex carry the risks of teenage pregnancy, and so we have an obligation to children to teach them how to practice safe sex....
Yes but I don’t think comparing piracy to sex ed is a fair comparison. Sex ed is essential because of all the inherent risks that can happen from committing any sexual activity. With piracy, it’s not like getting caught by your ISP will cause life-long pain and trauma while not teaching safe sex can result in STDs, unintentional pregnancy, and assault cases.
I use VNC Viewer to connect to my linux computer that’s on 24/7 so I can get the full desktop web experience no matter where I am outside. It works really well and I can see the fullscreen without having to worry about the page refreshing or dealing with limited mobile sites or downloading yet another app.
I prefer Brave’s interface over Safari on iOS even if they both use the same engine. I like how Brave has the scrollable tabs in portrait mode and the search button on the bottom so I don’t need to reach over. Also it syncs well with my laptops which I use Brave on too.
Software to use laptop/tablet screen as an external monitor
