I remember seeing this place shut down back in 2007 when some friends and I visited New Orleans. It’s crazy to me that a company as large as Six Flags hasn’t done anything with this property in nearly 2 decades.

There was a John Oliver segment discussing the homeless, and the method for counting them was mentioned. Basically, they pick 1 night a year and count people occupying a bed in a shelter. This obviously discounts a huge number of the homeless population, which is thought to be as much as 10 times the shelter count.

How do you feel about financing a genocide?

I didn’t want to direct this question to Americans specifically because, at this point, other countries have shown support to Israel in one or the other way. If my country was financing this, I would be taking the streets. Shit, I’m right now in the hospital but all I can think about is protesting anyway just to feel I did...

Can someone ELI5 how Unity can enforce a change to their TOS and have it be retroactive AND legally enforceable?

OK, let’s say it is a subscription model, which I’m sure it is. Wouldn’t I have to agree to the new terms for them to charge me? How can they charge me for previous installs that I never agreed to pay them for?

This seems to me like Unity is opening themselves up to a lot of litigation for loss of income from lost sales of software thanks to the updated licensing terms.
