nytrixus,

He’s one of those people who’ll pop around a corner and proclaim his credit of something he had next to no involvement in.

That is essentially the existence of marketers in general.

I can’t remember the last time I’ve bought a product because a commercial was successful in getting me to. Every commercial anymore is just to annoy. Annoy you with things you obviously wouldn’t want to buy. Annoy you with the knowledge that instead of paying the people running the company fairer wages, they invest millions into making said stupid commercial. As well as not improving the product or service in any conceivable way. That’s all it is.

Correction - AI is poisoning everything when it is not regulated and moderated.

Reddit has been poisoning itself for a while, what’s the difference? Just AI borrowing from the shithead behavior?

nytrixus,

incognito browsing has been proven to not be as private as it seems.

nytrixus,

The Afghanistani Government was overtaken by the Taliban in less than a week after the US left. So, that was a success for their own gain. The United States looked at that and thought ‘hold my beer’.

What's a band that has one album that is just about perfect in your opinion, but rest of their discography misses the mark with you?

One of mine is Commit This to Memory by Motion City Soundtrack. I basically took the title verbatim and know the album word for word. And while I would love if it did, the rest of MCS’s stuff just doesn’t hit the same way....

nytrixus,

Dark Matter is sounding in the okay field. I don’t understand why some people in the comment sections of every track are like going “Yeah! Pearl Jam is back to their angry roots!” when the album, 7 tracks in for me, is sounding pretty mellow. Some good rock flare but it’s overstating the matter about how ‘angry’ it is.

nytrixus,

Megadeth is just one of those bands where you’ll only like select tracks per album. But there’s almost no album of theirs that’s perfect from beginning to end.

nytrixus,

Especially true. Their latest album released like two or so years ago was really just an ear-in-ear-out experience. Not a damn memorable track from that album. They’re releasing a new one this year and it’s probably going to be the same.

Between the two brothers (vocalist of Powerman 5000 is related to Rob Zombie), Rob Zombie has the better end of the deal.

nytrixus,

Alice in Chains - Dirt. Like, you can’t get any better than that and their quality after Dirt was wildly fluctuating and it didn’t help that the band was dealing with a struggling Layne Staley until his death.

Sabaton - The Art of War. A handful of my favorite tracks is coming off from this album (Ghost Division, Firestorm .etc). A lot of this band’s discography, I like a max amount of like 4 songs per album while the rest is forgettable. But Art of War has just a little more to it.

Disturbed - Believe. This is easily one of my favorite albums of all time and definitely my favorite album of all of the Disturbed discography. Their sound matured off from The Sickness and it was only their sophomore album. Their quality of sound gradually decreased every album release since to where I’ll only find a favorite track or two from them.

nytrixus,

To me this is the way the streaming companies have designed it, with fracturing content.

nytrixus,

Agreed. I have that shit for free because of where I work and have yet to watch a single thing on it. I mean there’s things I would’ve watched ideally, but my tastes have changed where I don’t want to revisit some things. Ah yes, they have the fucking Golf Masters on there. Paramount Plus’ selection looks like the home of all of those mundane shows you’d commonly find on cable TV. The ones you skip a lot of the time. They’re all here in one package that almost nobody wants unless they want to tap into nostalgia for some of the other ones, like the Nick shows.

And no Anime at all either.

nytrixus,

Diablo III opens up a limited event where you got to go back to Tristram and do classic Diablo things. But they only leave it open a month and it only happens once a year.

Oh and Diablo III is online-only.

nytrixus,

Okay so they’ve now tacked on the laundry list of tech scamming, internet censoring, kiddie fiddling pieces of shit. Got it.

nytrixus,

I am with Tello and I’m paying the cheapest plan I’ve ever paid for in all the phones I’ve ever had.

I’ve tried Mint but their network shit the bed on me with where I live and I live in a capital of a midwest state.

I’ve tried UltraMobile and got the same thing.

Tello, no problem. I pay $10 for 2GB data and unlimited everything else.

What makes her more special? That she’s old?

Fuck all of the homeless people, guys, old ass bitch of a dinosaur needs her place out of the way!

nytrixus,

Why don’t you go and tell that to all of the others and yourself? Since you’re being a massive hypocrite.

nytrixus,

Well yeah, that’s what you get when you don’t pay your rent.

Seriously, society needs to stop cherry picking who’s more deserving than whom. There are 653,000 homeless Americans in this country. All living on lower than low standards, barely squeeking by another day and everything. They’re now on the podium for the right to even sleep on the streets and parks.

Yet, they suddenly don’t matter because oh, this one single 93 year old person is evicted and now will be on the streets. I again ask - what makes her the exception? What makes her special? Stop treating everything like a damn off-on switch and continue focusing on the bigger picture that would prevent and resolve problems like these.

nytrixus,

OoOoOOoOooo Did you peak at high school with that line?

Bitch please, if it came down to you and her as to who gets to live in a place. You’d pick yourself so shut the fuck up.

nytrixus,

Until we hear something official from Sony’s mouth, everything is speculation.

nytrixus,

This is very surreal right now with what we’re dealing with.

Firefox is leaning towards AI but promised for years and years about how private it is and how they won’t do anything to your data.

DDG promised the same thing and was seen as the Anti-Google/Bing for a long time, now it’s dealing with AI and our data is now on the table again.

Why, guys?

nytrixus,

It’s really all based on what you think has gone shittier.

But for a large part, it does feel like things are just shitter and we’re finding out one by one as to what it is.

nytrixus,

As someone who grew up with the internet and 28 years clocking in. I want to go back to the internet where the only news we got, was when it was in a category and it didn’t get all in your face wherever you went.

Nowadays, everyone cannot shut up to you about what’s going on, news is 24/7. Even when you think you’ve avoided it, you’ll run into places and people that make the news their identity that have to remind you, everytime, what’s going on. It’s annoying.

The internet back then wasn’t perfect, but it was a hell of a lot more quieter than it is now.

nytrixus,

Yeah, I’d like to see how many people that would love to go back to the times where if you weren’t a worshiper of God, you’d be branded a heathen and potentially killed at any given day in however they see fit.

nytrixus,

I lost more people and things telling the truth than I did lying.

nytrixus,

I’m glad that shithead got suspended.
