Totally agree about the kids thing. Being a parent should always take precedence over working(besides working extra to fund the basic needs of the household). Good point :)
When you preach how do you settle on the topic and opinion for your presentation(idk if that’s the right word). Is it like you pick a bible quote as your thesis and go from there?
It just works. I don’t want to have to invest time in making my os work. I want to spend my time on my projects(which I use wsl for)
I totally understand the desire and satisfaction of having complete control over your os but a lot of people just want to be able to do simple stuff like game and browse the web which windows does just fine in my experience.
Not saying op is wrong but why is there so much negativity on Lemmy? I agree capitalism is not a great system but I feel like this horse has been dead for a while and we are still beating it.
