In the last trailer it looked like a hybrid or turnbased game, here it looks more like a action game. Netherles i still like how create it looks like.
ok, i have watched the Showcase now. Seems it’s still a turn based game in it’s core, but this trailer doesn’t really show it because there are some action elements for trash mobs and battle encouters.
I think most of us play JRPG’s only once, often for the story as well. But are there games for you you already have played a few times and could start that any time?...
I played the first Octopath Traveler for about 80 hours. Quite good game but i wouldn’t play it more often because i always thought it’s level scaling is not perfect, switch between hard and very easy parts. But can’t say something about the second one.
There are also a lot that exclude action games from the Genre. It’s up on everyone to decide what they see as jrpg, because there is no clear definition. I just want to point out that i would like to see a wider definition of it included to this community.
That doesn’t make any sense for a game that calls itself tactics. And Yoshi is not responsible alone for FF16 being a action game, Final Fantasy games are action games since FFXIII-3 and SE already said, they believe, action games sell better than turn based. I think SE i wrong with that, but that’s for sure the future course of the Final Fantasy franchise.

Let’s just hope they find a good person for the succestion of playstation. I never thought Hiroki Totoki is the right person for this role, but he is only a Interim ceo. I can’t imagine this person ever played a game, but Hermann Hulst is still responsible for game development.

I could start again to tell why i don’t like xc2, but everyone tells me i get better and 10 hours in is not far, so i make a game out of it, for every upvote here i play 1 hour mor xc2. Maybe i struggle or i like it at some point. I don’t think the gameplay ever, but pyra, if her conversation are really that deep. Already 10 upvote, so 10 hours so far
