Statistics Canada confirmed last week that 351,679 babies were born in 2022 — the lowest number of live births since 345,044 births were recorded in 2005....
I saw your cost claim and found it really hard to believe. I mean I spend more than $200 a month raising two cats lol. I found this from Stats Canada from 2017 https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/pub/11f0019m/11f0019m2023007-eng.htm as far as I can see your numbers a way off. Looking at Table 2 for Predicted annual expenditures for one child in a one child family. It costs $14960 a year from 0-5 or $1246 a month which seems much more realistic. I wonder if you were assuming that total was from 0-5 rather than the total per year from 0-5. If you take the 0-17 total of $290,580 the monthly is $1424.
I'm pretty sure they got their numbers wrong. I have linked to a Stats Canada article in a different reply with what I think are correct numbers that are massively higher than their claim.
I was reading about the allegations against Russell Brand and couldn’t help but wonder how it works legally that his revenue can be blocked based on allegations and before any juridical ruling....
Don't get too caught up on the employee metaphor as Brand is not an employee of YouTube so he doesn't get the same legal protections an employee would get. That said if you were accused of harassment at a UK firm the company would have to investigate it, and quite possibly suspend you while it did and then fire you if it felt the claim was valid. The key point is that individuals and businesses don't need to pretend they haven't heard the allegations and its reasonable for them to act on it. Even within the courts while considered innocent until proven guilty it might be deemed reasonable to restrict your liberties until a verdict has been reached.
I don't want to be that guy (immediately is that guy) but they are provinces not states. I'm hoping making this point will speed up my citizenship application lol
I'm far from an expert but I would assume the obvious approach would be to setup a new company "Chrome Inc" transfer the relevant IP, staff and financial resources to it. You could set it up as some kind of independent non profit, sell it to some rival tech company, set it up as for profit company with ownership given to existing shareholders, or even maybe keep ownership of it under alphabet but with some limitations of how closely it can work with Google.
Edit: You can of course keep and reuse the old HDD. I just suggest pulling it for the initial restore if you aren't comfortable with boot settings/wiping disks etc as you might just keep booting to the old existing windows. Once the new one is setup you can then connect the old one and format it.
I have been using Outlook for the longest time and have tried FairEmail a couple of times and simply deleted it. Tried sticking through it for about a month and I’ll be sticking with it for a good long time now :)
I'm moving to Tutanota so I have to use there client on desktop and mobile. I have Thunderbird for my Gmail and Outlook emails on Desktop and just use Gmail and Outlook apps on my phone.
Yeah I'm quite tempted to get on board with Proton as they could replace Tutanota, Bitwarden, Nord VPN and One Drive/Google Drive for me. Seems convenient and privacy focused but obviously all my eggs in one basket seems like something I might come to regret.

It isn't and never was planned to be at the workplace.

Given that porn can’t sexualize anyone under 18, she would have had to be at least 18 when she conceived her first child....
