Should I be taking a look at my poor #ACNH town that is stuck in 2021 ;_; I will TT to my last login date and at least play the events from there so I don't miss out on items, but it also feels overwhelming.
@elisse It's up to you. If you want to start over, by all means! If you wanted to just pick up where you left off, also same. It CAN be overwhelming when you've been gone for a while. Just do what is the most fun for you if you're getting back to it!
Also, feel free to ping me if you need help getting back to it (or if you restart). I can always run early game supplies to you in game.
@mdmrn Ahhh thank you! I used to be a pretty aggressive trader on Reddit and Nookazon, so I'm at about 150 mill bells and maybe 1k~ NMT I think? A complete catalogue is more what I'm aiming at so I need to keep working on unlocking all the expansion and event furniture. :cry_cirno: Also my decorations are pretty outdated...
@elisse Wow! That can buy you a LOT of items with that many bells. I was never a trader, never did Nookazon. I did, however, join some Facebook groups of folks with Treasure Islands to obtain extras of items I could only get singles of (lucky cats, Pagodas, Pirate items, etc).
And I hear you. Have you played since the 2.0 update? There's a lot new that came in with that including a lot of new items, Brewster / the Roost, and more!

@mdmrn Oh yeah I started on decorating villager homes and buying the new furniture from the shop there before I stopped, but I'm missing a bunch of them. I think I had a close to complete, or perhaps complete, furniture catalogue before that.
I'm not that good a decorator, so the vacation island felt a bit chore-ish. ;_;

I hear you. Decorating can feel like a chore, at times. That's why I always did things in achievable chunks at various times. I have an idea now I may run with about dropping a faux convenience store next to my active "Metro" station.
