The culmination of Farmland is finally here! It's beautiful to see animated. The music really hit hard this episode; I really loved that piano in the first half!
I was not expecting a happy ending to Ketil's farm. We get confirmation that Pater also survived. The bastard, Ketil, gets to live too, but we can only hope he lives out the rest of his life in misery with the knowledge that he killed the one person he loved and was emotionally dependent on.
I'm still confused about Canute's turnaround. Is he still going to be the villain of the story? I can only assume releasing all of those vikings will come back to bite him in the ass.
Finale vibes. Could have been the end of the series and I would have been completely satisfied. The respect that Canute gave to Thorfinn was a great character moment for both of them.
