So you are on the beach...
But ?
Of course, they always are there.

In the part of Tuscany where I am, the sand is extremely rich of iron, and thanks to magnetic fields it is easy to isolate it with a small magnet 🧲.

(I bet the iron composition also explain why this sand gets incredibly hot during the central hours of days, way beyond most of other sand from beaches in Italy, which are instead mostly calcareous and attracted by no magnetic fields)
