I've got a mystery apple on a 20 yo tree that came with my property, and it's one of the best apples I've ever had. It is really affected by disease, though.

I only just planted my first fruit trees this past fall. I have a 3 in 1 cherry tree and two apple trees. The apple trees are a little sad because my puppy gnawed on them.... But they're still kicking!

Oh, unless we're counting tree-like shrubs. I have also recently started growing yuzu, sudachi, Szechuan peppercorn, and sansho pepper. They're all still in pots for now. The Szechuan peppercorn is surprisingly resilient--the puppy almost entirely ate that one and it's coming back!

I've got a bunch of blueberries and some huckleberries as well. And thimbleberries and salmonberries. I guess I've got a lot of stuff for someone who just started.

Nice, I've been meaning to pick up a Szechuan peppercorn. I've wondered if other citrus can be grafted onto them, or vice versa

I don't see why not. It would probably work well together with sansho pepper for better pollination. Can't say that I've tried, however.
