Porch pirates in Ashgrove

Howdy brisbanites, is anyone else seeing a rise in porch piracy? I'm in ashgrove and have had 2 packages stolen back to back this week, one yesterday which I thought may have been a fluke/error, but today about $350 dollars worth of stuff was stolen from where auspost determined was a "safe place." Is anyone else experiencing this?

Also what is my recourse here, one was from an online store and the other was a verified and tracked package from FB marketplace.
