    @grivettcarnac yes it really is about food insecurity. The founders of the movement this May over on Reddit were very sensitive to the needs of people who find it difficult to boycott because of economic situation and lack of local competition that limits choice. They have published a whole range of options including buying only loss leaders, letter writing campaign, petitions and social sharing.     @grivettcarnac I feel like people use the concept of “privilege” these days just to note that change is hard and to justify making no effort to change - and it is black and white thinking. Even moving a couple of your shops is still participating in the boycott - it doesn’t have to be all or nothing. Sounds just like the argument against bike lanes acting as though that means 1000% of your errands and such need to be done by bikes.
