Jimmy's signal watch, for the unfamiliar, is a wristwatch that can emit a sound (written as "zee-zee-zee" in comics) that only Superman can hear. A staple, but guessing more impressive pre-internet/cell phones?
In the early 70s, Jack Kirby took over the "Jimmy Olsen" title and revamped it with his own ideas. Issue #134 above marks the first appearance of major DC villain, Darkseid. That's right, DC's big bad, tough, villain first appeared in an issue of "Jimmy Olsen."
