These stage shows are a huge step up even from last year. This is fine.

This guy has a nice strong voice but super generic song. Better than Sweden's I guess.

Nice idea behind this song - reclaiming a slur. And the crowd know this - one to tip? Unsure if this is number one or two for me so far.

Kitschy, classic Eurovision this. One to remember I think.

The fellas down in Legends will love this. (Apologies to non-Brighton folk.) Even as a heterosexual bloke this is fucking amazing.

Okay, it's the UK. You know, sometimes we've actually done acceptable songs but usually we deserve the poor performance we usually get.

What one is this?

Honestly, I'm up for it, it's nice to see the UK embracing a more "wacky" entry. It's been a consistent blind spot. I was a bit marginal on it initially but am sold.

I spent the winter on the verge of a total breakdown while living in Norway. I felt the darkness of the black metal bands.

This wasn't one of them.

Enjoying this dramatic electronic rock though - strikes me as the kind of thing that won't do well but will be worth looking up the band later.

Do you remember when Italy was absent and San Marino just filled their space? That was weird in hindsight, right?

Unrelated but this performer has a great outfit and routine. Not too bothered by the actual song but strikes me as something that the Eurovision crowd will cherish.

@DuncanMSussex I love the song. You really have to speak the language to understand it fully. It’s both deeply personal and an omage to Serbian history. I don’t really know if it’s a good fit for Eurovision, but I wouldn’t have anyone other than Teya Dora representing our country.
