The Coast Guard Vessel, CCGS Tupper (renamed CV MV Caruso) was towed here for salvage in 2011. The eyesore remained there , nose in to the # 7 highway, ever since (Just removed in 2021

As we returned from #FancysBeach, we saw a #fire, right beside that Coast Guard ship. It closed the highway,

A massive fire at the end of the Marie Joseph wharf. It fills the sky with thick black smoke, that only the glow in the center can pass through. To the left, not touched by the fire, is a partly scrapped Coast Guard vessel, there for 10 years.
