Hello again, #FreeBSD!

It's been a while since I last used it, I've been binging too much on Debian Sid these past few months, I guess. Feels nice to pop back that HDD in and update it to 13.2, all pkgs and stuff too. Unix mode, baby!

I guess this is my own way to do #distrohopping :D

    @shipp if you have experience with any rolling release distro, definitely give it a go! I've been with it for two months or so now and it has yet to break on me. But install some safety-checking packages: apt-listbugs, apt-listchanges etc.

    Get it in a separate machine bare metal for you to get a feel of it, how it plays with your drivers and all. The only bad part is that a lot of the 3rd party build repos only provide stuff to stable, so you have to improvise...

    @shipp whoa, really? How did you do it, though, directly from the ISO?

    The way I always did with Sid was install from Stable (usually barebones install) and then "upgrade" it to Sid via the sources.list file. This is a little annoying because it takes more time (basically, two installs for one system), but perhaps it could work for you?
