Hall effect sensors but magnetically mounted controllers? You know, the things that use magnets to keep your joysticks center. A stronger magnet right next to the sticks would make the hall sensor really stupid.

Releasing this year, with no prior announcement from Nintendo? Also doesn’t make sense. Nintendo is all about the roll out and hype cycle.

Yeah, it's a pretty clear fake all around. I honestly doubt we're going to get a switch 1.5, given there are more credible rumors that say switch 2 dev kits are in the hands of developers.
