Bus stations, train stations are strange #LiminalSpaces that seem to attract people with very weird vibes. I guess one can also say that for ports, but I never felt it so much there. I'm not sure if it is just me, but I have always been just a little apprehensive when going there. 🤔
@StabilnoLabilno Travel stations are places where you stop your existence and transfer it to someplace else, like a slow rift in the continuum, so yeah, definitely at least a bit apprehensive!
I've been taking buses, trams and trains multiple times a day for more than three decades, and I've learned to appreciate my own personal time bubbles during the travel.
@elkarrde You put it so nicely, yes, our personal time bubbles! I've always been very aware of the liminality of these places, and it seems to me that not a lot of people give them much thought. But that's just my experience, ofc.
