@iammannyj I was so surprised when I opened one up as a kid. I was expecting the whole thing to be packed with electronics. But instead there was just one small circuit board with a few chips, and a lot of empty space.
@keydelk - You were braver than me. At the time, I had a SEGA Genesis, and it was too precious for me to open. Granted, I'm not sure why, but at a later date, I didn't mind opening up other consoles.
