I used to mainly look at r/onepiece for the manga discussions, every now and then a theory YouTube video is recommended that I can’t help watch but for the most part I like to read on the current chapters theories etc
I follow the official One Piece accounts on Twitter, occasionally you’ll see some cool sketches by Oda or his assistants there.
Otherwise - I watch Randy Troy pretty religiously on YouTube, I watch MrMorj with the understanding that he has a tendency to lock to his headcanon pretty hard. I’ve kinda fallen off Ohara or GrandLineReview, they just don’t really meet the mark for me anymore. Neither do what I really subscribed to them for.
I'm tired of YouTube One Piece for the most part, though if people start making lore videos like they do with Star Wars, LOTR and other fantasy content that'd be great. I guess it's still too early for that (and we're over 1800 chapters in, lol).
This was why I followed GrandLineReview initially… and then he pivoted and stopped doing heavily lore focused content. Ohara started out doing character analysis videos and instead pivoted to hype chasing.
So, now I watch a lot of Merphy Napier’s literary analysis content, and MelonTee for more character analysis style videos.
I still watch Randy Troy for seemingly having the most consistent theory content, and Morj, because, well.. he’s wrong often but he generally has fun ideas.
I love Merphy! Thanks for reminding me of her. I'll check out MelonTee's videos. And Morj, I remember when he stuck to his "raid is gonna fail" theory despite everything lol (that was him right?). Gotta love him for that.
