“The featured game needs little introduction, but we’ll provide one nonetheless. Released in 2013 by Rockstar Games, boasting a Metacritic score of 97, and with over 190 million copies sold worldwide, it’s none other than GTA 5.”
Modularity is a great thing! This is a good pro Repair step as well as I’m sure helping Sony’s logistics. I wonder too if with the slim the APU node size has gone down which will help it be more energy efficient
I would think that they’re just reducing the size of the heatsink again. Probably realized that it they had some diminishing returns on the size to cooling ratio.
I pre-ordered this game as soon as it was possible. I own Divinity and Divinity 2 and they are both made very well. Larian is a great company and Sven is a true D&D fan. I'm sure this game is exceed my expectations.
Great video of the city. Beautiful and detailed--the city looks alive with people.
Add: I am playing this game on a Linux gaming PC running Ubuntu with an Nvidia 3080 card and the preorder is looking great. I was worried about the controller support for the game, because even though Larian had it on DOS1&2, it wasn't in the pre-release of this game. Larian said it would be in the final game and seeing the PS5 in the videos with controller, I am excited that I can use my Xbox controller with the release version.
I have a PS5 but will be playing BG3 on my Linux PC. Too bad the Playstation for pushed back a couple of weeks, but I know Larian wants it to look its best for the PS5, so they need a little more time.
Same with me and A Hat In Time. I followed that game when it was a kickstarter but never actually took the plunge. I guess my 10 years of patience finally paid off!
I believe it’s just the first chapter of the game. Your progress will carry over when the final game launches, so I don’t think you have to worry about spoilers, if that’s your concern.
YES!! i fucking loved it! it was so so good. it will be the hardest task in my life to wait for a discount before buying the full game.
i played ff7r a while back, and i just can't get into the hybrid combat system. it feels so awkward to me to actively focus on movement AND an on-screen menu at the same time. which is why i'm so incredibly excited about the new pure action combat system they're trying with XVI. it's so sick! and the story (at least what i saw in the demo) is completely infatuating. i'm so excited.
i also LOVE the "real time lore" (or was it called something else?) feature when pausing a cutscene. don't remember who a namedropped character is? just pull up the lore menu and refresh your memory. SO convenient and well-written. i loved the feature (and writing) so much that i just started pausing at random points to see if anything new had popped up on the lore screen for me to read
Yeah the Active Time Lore, i think is what it's called, is a great feature and I hope other games start doing this. It's hard for me to keep every character and location fresh in my memory for whenever something might be referenced so being able to pull that up and quickly get info is amazing. I'm pretty excited for this!
Not yet, that's likely on my menu for this Friday night (my weekly marathon game night) along with the Lies of P demo. I liked FFXV just fine, but ultimately burned out and never finished it because the world was just too big and the tone was a bit weird to me. Everything I've seen of XVI seems more in like with my tastes, so I am fairly optimistic that I'm going to like it.
I really liked the fantasy-modern direction of XV, but the pacing was certainly off. They tried to make it a piecemeal kind of experience and it just ended up feeling unfinished and weird. I still enjoy it, but yeah it’s weird.
Unofficial home for all things PS related.
