Protected bike lanes, coooool!

But:
A TWENTY year bike plan?
Why so slow?

I know the usual answer: We need to build it as the funds allow.
About that: So until 2022, the Netherlands spent about €30 per capita* per year, on bicycle infrastructure. That's $ 32 a head.

For Seattle's 0.75M residents, that would be $24M a year.

A city's budget tells you its priorities, more clearly than what councilpeople say.

*In 2022 that went to €65 per capita.
