I just tried. Made it half way through the first track and had to bail.

They are just not for me.
They weren't then.
They aren't now.
And that's okay.

It's not really my thing, although I can appreciate the song-craft and the quality of the recording (it does sound good). I picked up "Can't Buy A Thrill" and "Katy Lied" cheap, and in good nick. Someday I'll pull them off the shelf again.. and only then will I become middle aged

I will not be surprised to find you yammering on about Fagen's dry wit and lyrical obscurantisms in due course. My wife frequently reminds me I did precisely this when I hit my mid-40s.
