Hey, newer fan here with a question. Lets say that a young mutant ends up getting tested for their abilities at Xavier's school, or anywhere else that tests for abilities. What does a mutant ability examination look like? Three scientists with clipboards and lab equipment? Professor Xavier scouring the new student's mind for evidence of mutations? Super technology? Magic?

How do these people end up with a printout of their budding powers? Or is none of the above correct?

@RegularBard Totally movie-based, but wasn't Prof X able to see all mutants everywhere with Cerebro, and the brightness of each "dot" represented their mutant potential? And this was just a magnification of his ability to that scale?

@Rhaedas that answers some of my questions, thank you! Does Cerebro also tell Xavier what the mutations of each mutant are capable of?

@RegularBard Been a while since I saw it, can't recall which movie it was. It was more a visual that mutants were everywhere. I would imagine that perhaps in person he might be able to look deeper to see more?
