At least the kid can actually act.

The worst part of the episode is that it’s not a bad one. Its just that the trope of “main character becomes a kid again” in scifi is so incredibly tired that no one cares if it’s done passable or not.

I actually think it’s one of the lesser used tropes; a far more often used trope is groundhog day and that episode is absolute gold.
