OC What made you switch from combustion? Or if you are still on the fence, why?

I'd tried a Volcano Classic a few times many many years ago but that was while I was mixing tobacco in with my herb and I was a heavy smoker.

I actually thought the bag was quite cool but it obviously didn't offer the hit a joint does so I just went on with my life, but I always had that experience stored in the back of my mind.

Fast forward a few years later and I quit smoking tobacco completely. I continued smoking pure herb joints but only very occasionally, because after years of smoking I wanted to take better care of my lungs. And every time I had a joint my sinuses would become inflamed.

I remembered the Volcano experience but the only thing stopping me was the cost. I had no idea about the cheaper options at the time because I was super sceptical about getting some crappy low quality disappointment of a device. So after a bit of research and a lot of saving I took the plunge and bought a Mighty Plus a few months ago. Let's just say life has never been the same. Now I want to spread the good news to anyone who will listen, hence why I created this magazine!

Are you considering switching from combustion? Maybe you've been using since I was just a twinkle in my father's eye! What's your story?

I switched during COVID times. My job was "essential" and I ended up burning out mentally and physically after the first 3 weeks. I increased my intake to the point where I was throwing up after every session due to the tobacco, so I switched to vaping. Unfortunately, my usage stayed up there after the switch but I absolutely can't go back to combustion. I won't even go into a coffeeshop to partake due to the smoke and the fact that I can't usually bring my Mighty in with me.

Yeah smoking tobacco (especially unfiltered) is the worst. I honestly don't know how I did for so long.

And I know what you mean about sitting in smoky coffee shops. Even when I was smoking I found it unpleasant. But do they really not allow vapes? That seems odd.

Sorry to hear about your burnout experience and I hope you are on the road to recovery. And thanks for sharing!

Hi, I forgot to circle back the other day! In my experience, most do not allow vapes, as it is still considered paraphernalia and it would be the equivalent of bringing your own glass to a pub, which I understand. There is also the possibility of other drugs being brought in, so a ban makes a lot of sense to me.

I'm slowly getting to the road to recovery, thank you! Just taking a bit of an unplanned detour hehe

Happy vaping! 💖

OK makes a bit more sense now, thanks for explaining. Just another reason why cannabis clubs are superior to coffee shops.

Glad to hear you're recovering. Take care!
