I did some searching, and apparently he's a Five-spotted Hawkmoth, aka my garden nemesis, the tomato hornworm! Never knew those hornworms grew into these adorable giant moths....
Just watering all my vegetables when some pretty nosy guys rolled up, mouths watering. I hope my zucchini don't grow beyond the fence...

My partner and I made this wee tunnel house out of dumped hothouse plastic, old vineyard netting, polypipe we found in the forest, and old fence posts. We had to buy some timber for the framing and zip ties to hold the materials together but we got to make use of so many dumped materials....
