Maybe it’s coincidence but I left a comment earlier on a now-delered post criticizing subreddits and lemmy communities in general. If that’s the post you’re referring to, please know I wasn’t referring to this sub in particular. You’ve been pretty good at sticking to the theme and when I’ve felt a post doesn’t belong, I’ve reported it and seen some removed.
I think when it comes to themed communities like this, it’s better to have stricter rules so (if you even agree), defining what does and doesn’t count would be helpful.
My personal opinion is that the criteria should be:
Images only. No links or videos. No screenshots. No memes.
Images must be about the end of an era or a collapse of some sort, preferably relating to technology
Surreal but not “weird for the sake of being weird”
