roofuskit, At this point it's inevitable that they have to strike a deal with Dems to elect a speaker. And the longer this goes on the more they're going to have to concede to get it done.
Nastybutler, This would be funny if it wasn’t so detrimental to a function branch of government
shiveyarbles, Republicans standing strong! … against governance
Jaysyn, ....and it worked.
I_am_10_squirrels, Seems like he could have convinced enough democrats to vote for him to overcome the MAGA opposition
popcap200, But to do that, he would have had to promise them more than absolutely nothing.
NoIWontPickaName, This show got unrealistic after the tv host president was elected and now they are just adding new actors hoping for the best.
They should have learned from Heroes
Fapper_McFapper, It hurts itself in its confusion.
Skyrmir, Yes, rage against anything closer to sanity!
Doug, It’s been working for them this long
DigitalTraveler42, But has it really tho?
Just seems like a bunch of shit headed children fucking around and finding out.
snooggums, They want to tear down the government and obstruct even harder than the GOP has done so far, so yes it is working for them.
Doug, Well, what state is the country in? Are things progressing like the people want, or like the donors of the elected officials want?
DigitalTraveler42, What you’re asking about is a much larger issue than even the MAGAts have anything to do with, but the people behind the MAGAts are definitely responsible for, overall the country is a mess because of internal and external forces working together to make it so, and decades of planning by the American Right wing, as well as the worsening conditions that these people have ignored, such as climate change, income inequality, and many other issues that are the culmination of decades of ignorance and exploitation.
Also a lot of the problem has nothing to do with Trump’s Qult and everything to do with the class warfare being waged on us by the greedy upper class, we’re battling through inflation, shrinkflation, enshittification, and a whole variety of other things that are ultimately the fault of the wealthy and their political and corporate proxies.
Ultimately Trump may be part of the wealthy class but he’s their tool, their shepherd to the racist ultra conservative Libertarian land that they’ve dreamed of ever since the first time they imagined themselves as John Galt after reading Atlas Shrugged, this is why Trump is funded by Ruzzia, but more importantly by the Mercers and other conservative American billionaires.
