Sims 2 Ultimate Collection Graphics Rules Error [SOLVED]

After I edit the graphic rule sims 2 file at startup it gives me the error of directx9.0 not compatible instead if I do not edit the file the game starts but with low resolution, also after I edit graphic rule the graphic rules maker program no longer finds the path to the game.
