For once, this isn’t Boeing’s fault. The valve is on the Centaur upper stage of Atlas V, not Starliner itself.

I’d have thought ULA would do more than just turn it off and on again when the problem occurred in the past. Seems like there’s no way they’d mess with the design at this point in time though.

Yeah, there are only a handful of Atlas V launches remaining at this point, so I guess they don’t want to invest heavily in optimizing the design at this point.
